More "About Me", I have lived in Southern Minnesota right outside of Good Thunder all my life. I grew up on a Holstein Dairy farm, I was my Dad's right hand girl. I loved to be outside with him! He taught me how to drive IH tractors, raise baby calves and how to use a pitchfork.
I married my high school sweetheart and learned a different kind of farming, pigs and sheep but he still raised beans, corn, oats and hay just like my Dad! My husband told me I was gonna learn how to drive the "cadillac" of tractors a "John Deere"!

After 20 years of marriage we have two handsome teenage boys who have made us very proud! We are proud to be a "Family farm"which is hard to be with the corporations taking over everything. Each of us pitch in and help whenever there is work to be done. Last year we decided to quit farrow to finishing the pigs due to the high level of prrs and circo virus in the area and low market prices. We decided we could make more selling our corn than feeding it to the pigs. After getting an education in OPP in sheep. We are presently rebuilding our sheep herd.
We are lambing right now and have about 45 lambs so far and 100 more Ewes to lamb. I have a soft spot for those sweet little babies!
