Welcome to my Primitive attic! My name is Ellen and I have a love for sewing, which I believe came from my dear grandmothers whom I named my site after. As you look you will see I love Old-fashioned Teddy Bears, Rabbits and Primitive Raggedy dolls. I still have my very first Raggedy Ann from when I was a little girl. I am very prim! Every doll and stitchery I have made has been stained with a lovely mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. Each doll has a unique choice of homespun yarn for their variety of hair styles. I am fascinated by all the different designs and colors of materials you can use when quilting and making clothes for the dolls. Folk art has been very interesting to me also especially when it comes with a little history. Hope you enjoy looking around and reminiscing of years ago. God’s Blessings to You!
Be sure to sign the guest book! I will be having a monthly drawing of names and you will get a chance to win a gift from Marcella and Maggie.
Thank you! Ellen
